Most significant achievement was the supply and commisioning of nearly 400 ++ Biffi actuators for GPP 5 & 6 ,Petronas Gas in kerteh, West Malaysia. Here I witnessed first hand large 32” Cl .300 – Cl.1500 Ball Valves closing in milliseconds, and realised that Malaysia lacked people who are technically sound and are willing to try out new ideas , be innovative instead of just following industry norms . I went on to start up Malaysia's first Valve Automation centre PAIM ( Pusat Automasi Injap Malaysia ) in 1998 . On leaving PAIM , I applied for ABB and to my surprise ABB being an Electrical powerhouse engaged me as the Mechanical Supervisor for ABB Malaysia's service Workshop in Subang for 3 yrs before moving on to Siemens (M) Sdn.Bhd as workshop manager and after running a large rotating Engineering workshop fo 3yrs my enterpreneur instincts made me realise that there wasn't enough local companies with OEM experience and I finally ended up in East Malaysia building a fully functional accredited motor repair/Rewind workshop which was recognised by IEC Ex as the first in Malaysia , and only 2nd in the world, Wehaya Sdn.Bhd. I went thru the most challenging part of my career in 2011, taking on a nearly impossible E & I erection package under ABB for BILT corporation of India . A erection job done without detail Engineering and with an even more impossible deadline . Coming out of it with a wealth of experience,adding to skills garnered over 20+ yrs became the core of Inovatif Engineering (M) Sdn.Bhd . Quant Service
