Paul Langridge’s Expertise My lab takes a genetic and in vivo approach to tackle molecular questions in biology, focussing on cell-cell communication. As a postdoc in Gary Struhl’s lab I have built a suite of tools to dissect the molecular events of Notch receptor activation in the fly and that also have many other exciting applications. During my PhD I gained evidence for a new component of the engine that drives crawling cells forward as they chemotax. I like to work with motivated undergraduates in the lab. I also enjoy teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
