Core Responsibilities - Facilitates the delivery of standardized training content in a classroom setting to build workforce knowledge, skills and abilities. - Manage and facilitate a blended learning environment. - Manage classroom environment to ensure a quality learning experience, and escalates inappropriate behavioral issues to local HR representative. - Partner with regional operational leaders to build employee capability. - Adhere to established policies and procedures related to learners and trainers. - Use evaluation tool to assist in measuring training effectiveness and provides feedback to learners and managers. - Support CU content feedback loop to drive ongoing quality improvement to national training programs. - Completes class-related LSO tasks such as certifying learners completed courses/modules. - Travels as required. - Perform other duties as assigned.Safety specialist: u2022Ensure that all safety policies and procedures of Comcast, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory agencies are implemented and followed by all aspects of operation in the area. u2022Schedule and conduct appropriate safety training for management, supervisors, and front line employees. u2022Conduct safety reviews of system operations. u2022Identify local accident trends and formulate appropriate remedial action. u2022Develop and maintain a current, working knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local safety, transportation, and environmental regulations. u2022Develop a close working relationship with local area and regional personnel. u2022Coordinate local area safety programs and procedures with the Regional Director of Safety. u2022Deal with OSHA and EPA inspections, and avoid citations through negotiation and cooperation with these agencies.
