PIPS and Change Control. Retina scanning and CVE. - Hardware Servers and SANS including Dell, HP, Lenovo, EMC, Nexsan, Nimble, V2. - International support / implementation and remote support. - Windows 2012 / 2008 / 2003 / 2000 server installation, configuration and support.• 1st and 2nd line Support of POS products for customers such as Monsoon, Virgin Rail, Links of London, Kurt Geiger, Jewsons. • Hardware builds and disc imaging for IBM systems, modem support, Cisco switches and Vodafone Paqnet. • BACS and EFT file transfers on secure dial up systems. • Software support including coverage of Windows XP / 2000 / 2003 server, Microsoft Office, Encore, Retail Star, VNC, RDP, Retail-J, PCAnywhere, Xcellenet, Servasure, raDos, Redcard, basic SQL, VPN’s and dialup support. • Dealing with account managers on a daily basis, including a role on the transformation board. • Documentation creation for centralized knowledgebase. • Liaising with 3rd line and third parties on problem resolutions.• Systems support and infrastructure maintenance of 7 industrial business sites, primarily responsible for 2 sites, both office block and shop floor. • Rollout of new hardware and software systems throughout both sites. • Daily support including remote work, administration, third party software support, desktop / laptop builds, project planning. • Close co-ordination with group IT technical team liaising on infrastructure changes. • Working within different areas of the business to implement a variety of systems. • Coordinating with third parties on maintenance and project implementation. • Induction of new users to the company, IT policies and procedures. • Worked at the company’s Hungarian site, supporting the migration of current IT systems onto a new domain.• Daily support and implementation of software / hardware systems. • Helpdesk administration and support including remote support, Active directory, Citrix, Cisco call manager, third party software, hardware and BlackBerrys. • Installation of new hardware including Dell desktop / laptops and servers, Cisco switches, SATA beasts, Overlans, KVM terminals, Cat 5 and fiber patch cabling. • Office support including desktops / laptops, LAN patching, Xerox and HP LAN hardware, remote CCTV, building access controls, Digital scanners and senders. • Company standard laptop and desktop OS imaging and configuration using Symantec Ghost. • Purchasing of IT hardware for Group infrastructure.
