Sc. in Electrical Engineering, upon graduation (1971) I held several Apprentice jobs in various industries. I moved on from there into the Oil Industry in early 1975. Having worked for about a year for an Italian oil company (Agip Mineraria, part of the ENI Group), I went onto work for an American service company (Camco), where I was employed until Oct.'89; from then on I worked as a consultant for a various consultancy agencies OPS, PRODRILL, UPSTREAM, Smedwig Technology and OPC. In all these years I have built up a vast experience in different fields of the Oil Industry. The various advancements within the companies and several overseas posting held, have contributed to a vast array of experiences in: Sales, Management, Consultancy, Training and Personnel. I am fluent in speaking and writing English and Italian (being my mother tongue), and fluent in speaking French. DOB: 1950 Nationality: Italian Oilfield Experience: 25+ Years From the year 2000 I took a sabbatical from the Oil Industry, to seek other opportunities, to test myself in other fields and search for new challenges. During these last 20 years I have opened various businesses and got involved in different activities from opening and running restaurants, to selling properties in Italy, from buying and selling commodities such as sugar to Forex trading on the Euro/Dollar Forex market. During this period, I also maintained consultancy work for OPC to keep in touch with the world of the petroleum industry. From late 2011 I started to get involved as a PR agent in activities which eventually brought me deep into the pharmaceutical world, where, for few years, I helped to mediate start-up companies with investors, and acquisitions for some medium size companies to take advantage of fragmented markets. It was during this period, that through my expanded network I was able, to tie in with some government officials and big energy companies representatives, and get involved in the world of trading energy based products; giving birth to Thurmoil Resources & Services ltd.. The rest is history.
