  Hello, my name is Philip Tener and let me tell you a bit about myself. I attended the University of Idaho in 2015 with the intent to study virtual technology and translate that into a business down the road. I passed all my classes and had a great experience being on my own for the first time. While attending school, I worked for the local franchise owner for College Pro Painters. I started knocking on doors to generate leads and by the end of the year, I had more cold call leads than anyone else in the company. During this time I was also the manager of my own painting crew. I was in charge of ensuring deadlines, margins, customer experience, and employee experience goals were hit. I played a vital part in ensuring that the franchise owner achieved the largest College Pro franchise ever ran in Idaho at 192K in revenue. Because of my past performance, I was given the opportunity to expand the companies territory and own the franchise of my hometown in Boise. At 19, I left school for the time being and ran my own business for the next three years. I was consistently leading my peers in terms of revenue, sales/marketing goals, production goals and quality surveys, and leadership. I produced roughly 150k in revenue each summer at a 60% net promoter score with a 25% gross profit. I achieved the presidents award with distinction twice for attaining certain revenue goals, the century club award for attaining certain sales goals, and the Excellence and Star awards for my business quality overall. Marketing and Sales were by far my favorite part of this experience. I interviewed, hired, trained, lead, and inspired my own group of students to knock on doors and achieve marketing goals to fill up my summer schedule. I developed my own system for managing these marketers that was later adopted by the whole company. I got to build and maintain relationships with homeowners all over the city and maintained over a 40% SR at my estimates. Unfortunately, College Pro is no longer continuing its services, but I am still going stronger than ever. I am looking for a full time sales position with a company who's values I align with while attending school part time. When I started this journey, I didn't even know how to hold a paint brush correctly, but through relentless hard work, self reflection, and perseverance, I realized my true potential.
