Has written several books and articles about rolling stock development and is visiting lecturer in a number of universities in the UK. Obtained MSc in Railway Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield, with professional membership of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. Member of Institute of Railway Operators. Lead Tutor for Engineering module in Institute of Railway Operators degree course. Awarded PhD by the School of Engineering, University of Birmingham, March 2018.
