Monitor product development changes to ensure compliance continuity. 8. Support success of compliance efforts by promoting early awareness of standards requirements. Contribute to the Engineering Requirements Documents as needed to ensure relevant standards are referenced. 9. Responsible for Budget planning on costs for type approval test, test vehicles/parts, new regulatory compliance, technical upgrades, testing equipment’s, technical standards, logistics, etc. 10. Regular update of various internal systems and database. 11. Identify ways to optimize cost of homologation (optimizing parts quantity, test exemptions, planning) 12. Coordinate with vehicle registration authorities for issues escalated by market team regarding certification or product discrepancies. 13. Coordinate with various regulation specialists at HQ for finalization of Company regulatory position. 14. Coordinate with HQ/CFT's for troubleshooting test failures, technical support, parts/vehicle requirements, etc. 15. Support External Affairs team for lobbying with Govt. from technical position. If needed, accompany them to explain Company requirements to the Govt. bodies from technical front. 16. Support Product Management and Product Planning team for future product introductions.
