  I am a student researcher working in the field of Event-centric Natural language Processing. I have worked on numerous projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science. I have been working in understanding and reasoning over longer documents using Entity-predicate Narrative Graph Representation. I use Graph Neural Networks to structurally learn the embeddings over Narrative Graphs with Event and Entity level contextualization which helps in capturing the long-range dependencies between different elements that form the essence of the document. These learnt graphical embeddings trained in a multi-relational setting over event relations and subject-object dependencies can be used to perform a bunch of downstream tasks like Future Event prediction, Question Answering, Summarization etc. The long term goal is to move ahead from extracting elements and rather try to understand the narrative as a whole at a document level. I graduated with a Dual Degree Bachelors and Masters in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. I am always excited to discuss about real life problems related to applications of AI. Outside of work, I enjoy anything that involves art and creativity. Purdue University
