Previously, I worked as a research assistant in Dr. Eva-Maria Mandelkow's group at, German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) Bonn, Germany. I had hands-on experience in techniques such as immunofluorescent microscopy, co-immunoprecipitation, FACS, qPCR, and others to understand the Tau pathology in Alzheimer's disease (AD). With my interest in immunology, I performed my master's thesis to generate and develop molecular tools to understand the phosphoantigen-mediated activation of T cells at the University of Würzburg, Germany. I have experience in basic and translational research in the field of cancer biology, immunology and neurodegenerative disease from different institutes like NCCS (National Cancer Centre Singapore)-Duke NUS (National University of Singapore), CNIO (Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas), Spain and others. From these and other laboratory modules during my undergraduate and master program, I have acquired hands-on experience in various techniques like cell culture, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, H&E staining, molecular cloning, cell transfection, and transduction, CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, and others.
