Deep experience in value assurance (due diligence) related activities, project framing, project delivery, facilitation, innovative workflows and people and skillpool management with up to 110 direct reports at any one time during my recent Shell career and I recently had oversight for some 70 Petroleum Engineers in SEIC. In my previous role this number was 170 in Shell Malaysia. I have considerable experience in individual, team and organisational capability development and deployment. Proven track record of opportunity identification and innovation with novel low cost approaches to rejuvenate ageing fields in mature basins and access smaller volumes of stranded hydrocarbons. Good interpersonal skills and recognised as coach / mentor to middle management. My aim is to bring innovative ideas to existing producing assets and work together with Exploration and the integrated subsurface, wells and facilities teams that manage our fields to focus on new and different approaches to reach technical limit recovery factors but to do it cheap and fast by optimising the trade-offs between cost, schedule and maximising field recovery factors together with sustainable production rates. My hobby horse is to get the basics right as the foundation for future growth. I want subsurface teams to really understand their reservoir connectivity then work with their asset reference plans to build activity plans to maximise value from existing or new infrastructure through solid field development plans.
