I love the creative elements of designing, the bringing-to-life of a concept or idea, and the refinement of it. I've worked on a broad range of Electronics and Software, including: * Electronics design including Schematic & PCB Layout in Altium Designer, 6 layer SMD PCB design * Hardware design and firmware drivers for I2C, SPI, QSPI, RS-485/232, USB, TCP/IP, TFT Colour LCD * Power electronics design including Buck/Boost regulators, high speed PWM, advanced thermal management * Firmware for a range of 8 and 32 bit MCU including STM32F3 and F7 series. C/C++, C#, Matlab, Python, secure bootloaders * Understanding and optimising LED colour mixing concepts and algorithms, simulation in matlab & implementation on embedded systems * Product compliance including safety standards and EMC/EMI
