My core responsibilities include - - Understanding the requirements, and providing consultancy to a range of grids (categorised based on the multitude of functionalities offered) within the bank (Accounts, Payments, Client due diligence, AML, retail banking, consumer credits etc) and outside (exposing services of partner and 3rd party companies) to expose their functionalities through REST APIs as per S&Gs outlined by the bank to internal (via IIB) and external consumers (via Apigee). - Designing solutions, and creating technical documents such as Solution architecture and design, API specs (YAML), transformation logic and data mapping sheet etc, necessary for the development of the REST APIs. - Enabling teams with streamling the WoW for efficient delivery, and continuously involved with improving S&Gs used across the bank for designing REST APIs, and providing consultancy with designing solutions across diverse systems in the bank. - Development on IBM Integration Bus or Apigee edge, testing through SOAP UI/ postman, and deployment of the service through CI/CD (tools involved - bitbucket, jenkins, maven, nexus, XL-Release, XL-Deploy etc). - Onboarding and supporting consumers in using the services deployed in ET/ Sandbox and production environments. - Providing support post-deployment in ET/ Sandbox and production environments to resolve incidents. In my IT journey so far i've amassed extensive knowledge in a range of technologies, and have domain expertise in sectors such as healthcare and banking. My experience with globally recognised clients has improved my outlook as an IT professional across different architectural landscapes, and has given me the opportunity to demonstrate problem resolution, team co-ordination, and leadership skills.
