In my past I worked on classical scientific CFD simulation codes which ran on large HPC systems to conduct high fidelity simulations. This means on tens of thousands of CPU cores. Since this is usually not feasible for companies I am convinced different architectures are a way out to bring such approaches to industries. At the moment GPUs are one of the popular possibilities. Their different architecture and the required low level programming make writing code for them especially appealing to me. One more thing I really enjoy is sharing knowledge. That's why I launched a website which features articles on coding, CUDA, C++ and Linux in general.
