Selvan Naidoo’s Expertise Directly responsible to Formulate , Drive and Implement the Business Development and Product Category Commercialization strategy, Go To Market (GTM) and Sales Channel Strategy for the entire product portfolio as a Start Up i.e. Mobile Devices, SMART, Consumer Electronics and I.O.T Categories through the leadership, development building of a new team and a focused Sales and Channel Distribution Plan which includes Onboarding. Responsible for end to end Sell In, Sell Thru and Sell Out . Select , Grow and maintenance of relationships with Distribution and Channel Partners across all sales segments SA and Cross Border ( SA, Namibia, Botswana) with compliance based on legal requirements, integrity, policy and procedure / ethical business practices. This is achieved through understanding the different countries dynamics within this evolving and fast paced industry. Key to business planning is the understanding and usage of DATA, trends and Analysis {eg CVM ,GFK,Canalys) with using them within all strategies and negotiations, as well as knowing and benchmarking against competitor business and market activities. Very importantly aligning strategy with customer and consumer requirements resulting with creating offerings and value that drive customer behavior, satisfaction and incremental revenue. The role is also responsible for and not limited to..: •Consistently achieving SALES and Revenue target based on P&L results •Partner relationship management Commercialization- 5P Strategies - Sales & Distribution Agreements, Marketing •Operational efficiencies . Data Analysis Product Management and Life Cycles . Planning and Forecasting . Channel and Trade Marketing . Account Management Training, Coaching and Mentoring/ Account Plans/ Reviews. . Retail Operations and Field Marketing Team SLA against GTM and Operational KPIs .WIN WIN Partnership Management and SLAs . Business Development/Channel Expansion ..Current and New •Supply chain management /Distribution •Leadership through effective people coaching, development, collaboration and management and Human Resource practice •To implement strategic initiatives for the division that will enhance the Xiaomi brand footprint and business proposition for the commercial market •Critical success factors of my role are relationship building skills and an ability to deal with a variety of complexities across the business, levels especially the unique culture and duality in executive organizational structures.
