We are working on technology that would be able to help billions of people to lead a healthier life at an affordable cost. This vision keeps my highly motivated even on a bad day. 3. Many of my important learnings came after I joined IRIS in 2004. At that time, IRIS had just 11 employees. As Vice President, I was responsible for the Product and Technology division and had shared responsibility for Operations. We built products and provided services around an open source standard called XBRL. The company is now listed, has clients in 50 countries, has over 400 employees and is a leading XBRL company in the world. My journey in IRIS has taken me to over 40 countries and has given me the opportunity to lead negotiations across geographies: Asia, US, Europe, Africa and Australia. I have worked with regulators around the world, coordinated with IT heads & leadership teams of Central Banks, Stock Exchanges, Security Commissions and Business Registries. Here I got mentored by some of the most wonderful people and also got the chance to recruit and mentor some really brilliant minds. IRIS gave me the confidence to start my own Venture (Fitterfly). 4. I have been married for 22 years. My wife, Vineeta, is an expert in applied Neuroscience. My daughter, Kavya, is in high school. We stay in Gurgaon. Fitterfly
