  I am a new graduate from UW-Madison, double majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science with a cumulative GPA of 4.00. Following my graduation in May 2023, I will attend the University of California - Berkeley for their Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, where I plan to specialize in Physical Electronics and Integrated Circuits (PEIC). As a hardware engineer, I prioritize architectural innovations, distinctive optimizations, and robust validations, which have made me a competitive candidate for RTL, ASIC, and SoC design positions. My undergraduate capstone, research experiences (GPU architectural modeling and phased array antenna control systems), course projects, and teaching/grading roles all fall within the scope of FPGA design and validation in System Verilog, PCB design, and machine learning accelerators. I’m genuinely grateful to all my advisors, professors, and classmates for providing me with this wonderful college experience. As a firmware engineer, I draw on my knowledge from both majors to develop more cohesive embedded systems. During my 7-month Co-op at Western Digital, I developed, debugged, and tested next-generation enterprise SSDs firmware. Beyond programming, I worked with hardware trace dumps, simulation tools, and CI test platforms. I was also honored to lead a team of full-time engineers to reconstruct a new test infrastructure for a new product's least abstracted firmware architectural layer. And finally, as a software engineer, I keep myself up-to-date on rapidly evolving Computer Science topics like AI & ML, OS, and databases, where I substantially improved my programming skills in C/C++, Python, Java, HTML/CSS, SQL, etc. I have also independently designed a bioinformatical web database (SQLite) for the Alfalfa genome, populational, and transcriptome data using the Python Flask framework, and a paper regarding my work was published on BioRxiv.
