I have 20 years of television producing, writing and filming experience, working in the genres of news, current affairs, travel and world cinema. I was one of the first Australian journalists to become trained as a Video Journalist (VJ). I can edit my own stories using Premiere or Final Cut Pro. I'm fully trained to use VJ equipment and currently shoot with a Canon C200. I've shot, produced and edited short documentaries, worked in major newsrooms in front and behind the lens, and led a team of newspaper reporters as they transitioned to making web videos. I speak fluent Spanish, have a Masters Degree in International Relations, and once spent 12 months working as the "key seats" media advisor for an Opposition Leader in Australia.
