  Hi there! My name is Stefany, and I am a graduate of the Thompson Rivers University Natural Resource Science Undergraduate program in Kamloops BC (2019). I currently work as a District Range Agrologist for the Selkirk District Range Program (Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development). Over the course of my time in this position I have gained experience in interpreting Provincial legislation, plant identification, tenure administration, ecological health monitoring, contract procurement and use of mapping software. The most rewarding part of my job is working to create and maintain positive working relationships with Range Tenure Holders and the public. In addition to being a Professional Agrologist under the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists (BCIA), I am also a board member for the Boundary Invasive Species Society (BISS), a member of the Society for Range Management (SRM) and member of my office’s Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC). I am a proud Public Servant and hope to have a lengthy and diverse career while making a positive and lasting difference for our Province’s natural resources.
