National-Level Nonprofit Executive Leadership - Focusing on clear and steady communication while monitoring and supporting staff dynamics - Served under two CEOs as Chief of Staff as well as Interim CEO for Public Allies through multiple difficult periods of financial challenge, major growth, leadership transition, and organizational restructuring Team/Culture Building & Advocacy - Centering people while ensuring accountability to impact - Implemented bonus policy, leading salary market analysis, managed COVID guidance, advocated for more resources for staff, and ensured that spaces were inviting, welcoming, and memorable - Manage and coach people for success through deep listening and accountability Systems & Process Development/Implementation - Creating people-centered processes focused on effectiveness and efficiency - Creation of Annual 20M budget process including 10 different business units as well as multiple federal grant budgets ensuring department-created budgets, mutually-understood priorities, and clear communication. - Worked across the organization to lead development and implantation of new grant financial management policy, process, and system for national operation as well as 25 local program sites Bridge-Building - Bringing people and organizations together to accomplish more by finding common ground - Consistently led planning of numerous gatherings of 50-1000 participants focused on learning, movement-building, and community-building. - Founding ED of The Nonprofit Sector Workforce Coalition, recruited 70 organizations in a common agenda focusing on nonprofit workforce diversity and leadership development initiatives
