Steve took Ownership of this issue, investigated with the vendor and kept consistent and timely communication with the customer on Next-steps Actions. Steve restored connectivity through his expertise. At the end customer stated: "Just want to personally THANK Stephen Delong, OUTSTANDING work today to get the REC back up 100%" Kevin Wilson Dir-Ntwk Assur Steve Delong displayed excellent customer service by showing empathy and taking ownership of a recent USPS issue. USPS was unable to connect to any web based applications on intranet or extranet. Steve immediately identified the issue with MTU on circuit and engaged LEC (Comcast) to investigate. Comcast advised issue is not on their portion after initial troubleshooting. Steve persisted with Comcast and through his troubleshooting was able to convince Comcast to engage Tier III support.
