Steve earned his Certified Financial Planners (CFP) designation in 1994 and was an NFLPA (NFL Player Association) Registered Financial Advisor. Steve graduated from Drake University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts and joined the Xerox Corporation in 1979 thru 1982 where he was in Sales and Product Management. Steve joined the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network in 2019 as an advisor/volunteer, serves on the board for Beefsticks for Backpacks a Fort Collins non-profit and is a member of Civico in Denver. Steve’s outside interest involves most everything outdoors including sailing, skiing, fly fishing, biking, and hiking. Additionally, Steve favorite endeavors involved coaching youth sports (football and basketball) thru the Gold Grown Foundation as well as at the high school and middle school levels in the Lewis Palmer School District.
