Working closely with the Emergency Department to collect blood samples and obtain consent forms, I was also responsible for analyzing the information in the database and training new volunteers. I produced the initial summary reports for the sponsoring doctor that highlighted how specific microRNA blood markers were present in patients during these cardiac events.
