Steve Grossman’s Expertise Steve has written feature screenplays or performed rewrites for independent producers such as Halcyon Films, Dynamite Entertainment, Zacharias Motion Pictures, Miller-Begun Productions, and Chako Van Leeuwen (producer of "Piranha" and an Executive Producer of "Piranha 3D"). He has had original screenplays and treatments optioned by producers such as Jay Weston and Taper Media. He was the writer of "Survive!", a television pilot produced by Metromedia. He was writer and associate producer on the documentary "Chaos and Order: Making American Theater" narrated by Tony-Award winning actress Cherry Jones which spotlights the American Repertory Theater, one of the most respected and innovative dramatic institutions in the United States. He was previously represented by Kohner-Levy Agency and the Gersh Agency. He co-produced and edited the short film "Trifles", winner of over 25 awards worldwide and screened on Cinemax. He also did a stint creating/editing trailers and editing TV versions of features for Roger Corman. In addition, he is a former literary agent, representing screenwriters and authors' screen rights, including two National Book Award Finalists. He has taught screenwriting at colleges for nearly twenty years and recently received the Prescott Faculty of the Year Award.
