As a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute since 1987, he has extensive experience spanning landscape planning, design and assessment for major residential, mixed use, energy and infrastructure projects. Landscape lead roles on nationally significant infrastructure projects with Jacobs have included Wylfa Newydd power station, Southampton to London Pipeline project and current work on Lower Thames Crossing. Previous responsibilities include high profile design projects including the award winning landscape design for the International Convention Centre in Birmingham and refurbishment of the Bristol Temple Meads station forecourt, the latter cited as a best practice example of streetscape design by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. Currently a Landscape Institute examiner for the Pathway to Chartership (P2C) professional practice examination, Steve is committed to working collaboratively with other environmental disciplines to deliver coordinated sustainable landscape solutions.
