Steve Palmore’s Expertise My primary experience is the design of multilayer rigid SMT circuit boards up to 26 layers with component counts up to 4000. I have extensive experience in the complete CAD design process from library installation and management, schematic entry, layout, and post layout processing. Past designs I have completed included the implementation of impedance controlled stack-ups, custom routing topologies, match length routing groups, differential pairs, and custom RF transmissions lines. I have completed numerous mixed RF and digital designs. My most recent design experience includes large RF designs (2500+ components) in the millimeter wave bands (28GHz). I am also very proficient in both UNIX and Windows environments, including Microsoft Office. I am self motivated and own a Pads PCB layout and auto-router license. My mechanical design background offers an additional level of insight as a pcb designer. I have two years of full time experience designing outdoor telecommunications enclosures and equipment. I also have experience using ProE for designing RF shields, heat-sinks, fixtures, and other miscellaneous hardware.
