Steven Silverstein’s Expertise I have over 35 years experience designing, engineering, and developing highly integrated electronic embedded microprocessor/microcontroller-based control systems and their corresponding hardware/firmware/software for the purposes of digitally animating, programming, controlling, and maintaining Disney's Audio-Animatronics(R) figures and attractions. Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) and many other theme park Maintenance, Show Quality, and sustaining engineering groups within Disney use these specialized animation tools on a daily basis to help ensure the highest performance level of our countless Audio-Animatronics figures and attractions in Disney theme parks throughout the world. From their first introduction to their latest generation in-use today, these inventions continue to be the workhorse standard for bringing many hundreds of Disney's Audio-Animatronics figures to life, starting over three decades ago for the installation and construction of the Disney's Studios park in Walt Disney World, all the way up to and beyond Disney's newest theme park, Shanghai Disneyland. I especially enjoy the responsibilities of my current role to technically manage the development of new animation tools, as well as ensuring that the existing animation tools are continually improved, enhanced, and refined as technology unceasingly advances, and as programming, maintenance, operational, and creative requirements evolve over time.
