In 2020 I partnered with Eurofins to develop precise and reproducible analytical methods for identifying and quantifying microplastics in surface water, soil, sand, and biota (e.g., mollusks) using Agilent’s Laser Direct Infra-Red Imaging System. I have now started my PhD With the Australian Laboratory of Emerging Contaminants at the University of a Melbourne and Agilent Technologies to combine analytical methods and programming to enhance the Laser Direct Infra-Red (LDIR) Chemical Imaging System for microplastics analysis in environmental and biological samples.
