Sudhir Jain’s Expertise Sudhir is a Managing Director at Patomak Global Partners. He advises clients on regulatory strategy and compliance, risk management, swap dealer and security based swap dealer regulations. Prior to Patomak, Sudhir was at National Futures Association (NFA) where he managed NFA’s examination and oversight program for over 40 Swap Dealers (SD). Sudhir led many strategic projects for NFA including the implementation of NFA’s oversight program for SD capital requirements, and the roll-out for the Swaps Proficiency program which is a mandatory proficiency requirement for swaps traders. In his role, Sudhir spearheaded coordination with CFTC divisions and various US and non-US regulators on regulatory matters. Prior to NFA, Sudhir was an Executive Director in Risk Management at JPMorgan Chase. At JPMorgan he co-managed the Risk Management Policy Group which exercised oversight over risk policies and procedures across all lines of businesses globally. Sudhir developed e-training modules for over 20,000 risk managers and traders on various firmwide risk policies and managed the preparation of a monthly risk bulletin summarizing key policy changes, which was distributed to over 35,000 employees. Prior to JPMorgan, Sudhir was at Cognizant Technology Solutions. At Cognizant, he led a team of over 50 staff working in risk management engagements across major US banks. He advised clients on the documentation, design, and implementation of risk governance framework as well as risk models. Before Cognizant, Sudhir worked as a Risk Manager with Securities Trading Corporation of India (STCI), India’s largest primary dealer. At STCI, he managed market risk on a 1B bond portfolio and performed credit analysis for major banks and corporations. Sudhir holds an MBA, as well as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certifications. In 2000, Sudhir was nationally recognized by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India for his knowledge in corporate tax. He was also nationally recognized by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for his accounting and auditing knowledge. More recently, Sudhir completed a crypto-focused executive program from MIT Sloan School of Management.
