My interest in Mathematics stems from the ideology that there is no right method to a problem, for example computers may prepare hundreds of solutions but Mathematicians are always needed to approach new problems in a rigorous way, to formulate theories and apply mathematical modelling to the real world, which a computer may struggle to do so. Though I have only just recently started University, I have been upholding a strong academic background by having the ability to work methodically and accurately by organising my work, meeting deadlines and by planning and prioritisation. Through my commitments, I understand the importance of being able to work in a team and communicating effectively to achieve a common goal and know that I will enjoy and make the most out of my time at Queen Mary’s, University of London.
