My penchant for social entrepreneurship and keen interest in bringing about change has led me to become first, a Founding Board Member and later, the Communications Chair on the E7 Women’s Leadership Summit organized to empower young Emirati women to create community projects that will bring about change in their environments. I currently serve this programme in the capacity of a Mentor. I have also been awarded the coveted Vital Voices VV Grow Fellowship in recognition of my achievements and was the recipient of a USD 5,000 grant for my business. The Vital Voices Grow Fellowship is a prestigious, leading global accelerator programme for women owners of small and medium-sized businesses.
