I am currently working as an Electronic Technician on jack-up drilling rigs in the North Sea. I have got the responsibility for maintaining the drilling control system, power distribution system, communications and automated safety systems which detects fire and gas. I am involved in preparation of work permits, risk assessment and isolation of electrical equipment on daily basis.
