As a leader, I am focused on developing and delivering: inclusive and disability confident recruitment and management; kind and brave leadership; disability advocacy; evidence-based, person-centred teaching and learning. My writing and research is currently exploring: kindness in leadership; teaching and learning in professional services; crip information literacy futures. More widely within the HE sector, I am a mentor for Academic Libraries North (ALN), and I sit on ALN’s Associate Directors group, and SCONUL’s Deputy Directors group. I am a qualified librarian with an MSc in Information & Library Studies. CILIP, ALDinHE and UCISA member. I am also a project manager with PRINCE2 Foundation Certification. My prior work was as a musicologist with specialisms in musical theatre musicology, identity and multidisciplinary studies. Research interests focus on LGBTQ+ identities in musical theatre.
