Tim Eichenlaub’s Expertise After nearly 40 years in finance and banking, I decided to retire in April of this year. I spent most of my career focused on lending and investing activities within the middle-market with experience in originations, risk underwriting, portfolio management, loan workouts, capital markets, and mezzanine and equity investing. I have been fortunate to have had a series of executive management and leadership roles of increasing responsibility with both banks and non-bank lenders where I was responsible for building and leading high-performance teams, strategy development and execution, risk management, compliance management, and managing relationships with board of directors and regulatory agencies. Prior to retiring, my role was President of Regions Business Capital and Executive Managing Director of Regions Bank. As President, I was responsible for more than 10B in assets and 100+ Associates. Prior to being promoted to President of the Division, I was the Chief Credit Officer for Regions Business Capital and Regions Equipment Finance Company. Profitability and portfolio credit metric results achieved were significantly better than industry peers. Prior to joining Regions Bank, I was the Chief Credit Officer of AloStar Bank of Commerce. Prior to AloStar, I was a Managing Director at Bayside Capital. Bayside is a credit oriented private equity firm. Before Bayside, I was Co-Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Tygris Commercial Finance, a start-up commercial finance business that was sold to EverBank Financial. Prior to Tygris, I was Senior Managing Director and Group Head at the CIT Group responsible for Leverage Finance, CIT’s equity investment program, and its mezzanine fund. I spent 9 years with Heller Financial, lastly as Executive Vice President and Head of Capital Markets, and then following the acquisition of Heller by GE, with GE Capital’s Global Sponsor Finance Group. I started my career with Mellon Bank and completed Mellon’s bank credit training program. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grove City College and a Master of Science in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. GE and Regions Bank Six Sigma quality trained. I am interested in for-profit and not-for-profit board positions and other interesting projects. No interest in a full-time position, however.
