Maintaining sea survival equipment and conducting sea survival training was another important aspect of my role. Having since left the Royal Navy in February 2016 I continue to serve in the Royal Navy environment as a Reservist, conducting regular training and instructing in seamanship to Reservists at the Royal Navy Seamanship School at HMS Raleigh, and on board various Royal Navy warships.
