I graduated with my M.S in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University (NU), with a concentration in mechatronics and robotics. I am a research assistant in the NU Cold Spray Lab. In this role, I conducted many CFD simulations to study Nickel(Ni) particle impact on a Tungsten Carbide Cobalt(WC-Co) to understand nozzle clogging in cold spray. I also conducted CFD simulations on white(WBCs) and red blood cells(RBCs) in small channels such as heart valves to study how they interact during Deep Vein Thrombosis(DVT). During my time NC State, I practiced multiple disciplines of engineering such as data analysis using MATLAB and R & D in experiments and practical applications. I operated in the sub-sonic and supersonic wind tunnel to perform experiments on airfoils, bluff bodies, sub-scaled models of aircraft, and propellers and analyzed the data to develop aerodynamics trends and relationships. Furthermore, I used Ansys to compute FEA calculations on many physical components to analyze the specific responses such as deformation, stresses, and buckling modes. During my two internships at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, I improved my communication and project management skills by managing several LED retrofitting projects. I sharpened my project management skills by communicating with professional vendors and maintenance staff to confirm data and schedule site visits.
