  I am currently serving as the commander of a HHC 32 bed filed hospital, 10th Field hospital, in Ft. Carson Colorado. I have served in a variety of FORSCOM units in the tactical (small "in the fight") and strategic (entire theater of operations "planning the fight") levels of operations. Unique operations I have supported are two DSCA (Defense support of civil authorities) missions where we augmented local hospitals in San Antonio with military providers and a COVID Vaccination mission in New Jersey. On these missions I developed logistics support chains from vendors and national stockpiles to support our provider teams and worked to foster strong relationships with local and hospital leadership. Much of our success was due to these relationships as we were operating in an unfamiliar area supporting a mission we had never anticipated. I live by a philosophy, true leaders are wise, wise leaders are experienced, and experienced leaders have the humility to draw from their mistakes and the lessons of others, and made it my mission to keep growing and learning from others.
