Wanting to learn more, I packed my college schedule with Radio/Television courses to learn more about visual and audio storytelling. In over a decade, I saw the rise of streaming audio and using the internet to reach out to audiences in a whole new way. That included blogging and social media, during a time when advertisers were still learning the best way to tell their stories as well. From there I moved on to the sports industry, where I learned how to mold excitement in to my story telling. With the sports industry in my rearview, I entered the financial industry. This industry was still recovering from the recession of the last decade and still trying to figure out how to reach out to a new, much more cautious, generation. Thanks to this career journey, I have developed skills to help industries that are still trying to find their footing in the digital landscape. Honest, exciting, and informational story telling is important. I have also learned to keep an eye on older mediums to make sure the messaging isn't lost on those audiences who still choose them. With a laser focus on budgets, trends, and competition, I can help organizations find the right mix of old and new to deliver their story and appeal to many generations.
